The Master of Biotechnology Program (MBIOT) is an Interdisciplinary Professional Science Masters program established to train a diverse cadre of professionals to become leaders in the biotechnology industry—an increasingly important component of the global economy. The MBIOT Program is uniquely positioned to serve this need by providing an innovative interdisciplinary curriculum combining hands-on science, business/entrepreneurial training, and an immersive experiential internship experience in the biotech industry. This combination of training sets our graduates apart and gives them a proven competitive edge in the job market.
We are able to draw on a vibrant diverse faculty engaged in cutting edge biotech research from the College of Engineering, the Business School, the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Health Science Center. Combine this with the close-knit community spirit of our students and a friendly welcoming location consistently rated as one of the most livable metropolitan areas in the country, and you have all the ingredients for an incredibly rewarding educational experience few other programs can match.
