Application Process
All graduate engineering applications for the Fall 2025 semester will be submitted using EngineeringCAS. EngineeringCAS is the Centralized Application Service for all College of Engineering graduate programs at Texas A&M University.
You will be required to submit the following in order to apply:
Optional: You may self-report your general Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) test scores (subject tests not required) in the Quadrant 2 Academic History section of the application. You may also upload copies of your unofficial test score reports in the Quadrant 4 Program section under Documents in the application.

You will be required to pay the EngineeringCAS processing fee ($58) in addition to the Texas A&M University application fee of $65 for domestic applicants, or $90 for international applicants.
Domestic applicants have access to the EngineeringCAS Processing Fee Coupon Code. This means that the College of Engineering will cover the cost of the EngineeringCAS processing fee ($58) for all domestic applicants.
Additionally, we will provide the coupon codes (fee waivers) for EngineeringCAS fee of $58 to all applicants. Email Dr. Larissa Pchenitchnaia at larissap@tamu.edu for a coupon code.
Some international applicants are required to provide documentation of English proficiency, provided in the form of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test scores.

The Texas A&M University College of Engineering's Quick Admit Graduate Program is available to students graduating from any of our engineering bachelor's degree programs. The program provides an expedited application review process for Master of Biotechnology (MBIOT) Program. NOTE: Please submit only one application per term.
Please send your application through the Quick Admit Graduate Program, which provides an expedited application review process.
You will be required to submit the following in order to apply:
- A statement of purpose that is no more than 1-2 pages.
- The GRE requirement has been waived for Fall 2025.

- Three references. Please note that if the program decides to follow up with your recommenders, we will contact them.
